Rapper 50 Cent to Debut Casino Version of Street Dice Game at G2E

Rapper 50 Cent will unveil a casino version of an underground New York street dice game at this year’s G2E, held at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from Sept. 29–Oct. 1, 2026.

The Queens-born mogul (real name: Curtis Jackson) has partnered with U.K.-based gaming manufacturer TCSJOHNHUXLEY to develop 50 Cent Headcrack, a licensed casino table game built on the mechanics of Cee-lo.

50 Cent previewed the project on Instagram on Sept. 17, 2026, framing the venture as the long-overdue legitimization of a game that always played by its own rules.

“For a hundred years this game lived on the corner,” he said in TCS/JOHNHUXLEY’s press release. “Now it’s got a dealer, a pay table and a seat at the table in a real casino. Same dice, new floor.”

Multicultural History

Cee-lo—derived from sì wǔ liù (Chinese for “four-five-six”)—is played with three six-sided dice. Popular among Chinese-American players as early as 1893, it was adopted by hip-hop culture in the late 1970s and became a fixture on the street corners of Harlem, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.

Nas, the Notorious B.I.G., and Jadakiss all referenced the game in their music. Kool G Rap called his 1995 album 4,5,6, and its title track included the line “Headcrack, time to get the bread”—the lyric that most likely inspired 50 Cent’s casino adaptation.

But it was Thomas DeCarlo Callaway who gave the game its biggest mainstream exposure, and gesture of love, when he took his stage name, CeeLo Green, directly from it.

Casino Variations

According to TCS/JOHNHUXLEY, 50 Cent Headcrack is designed to attract players who are not already at the tables, and to keep the game moving once they sit down, while preserving Cee-lo’s essential drama: three dice, one shooter, and the hope of rolling a 4-5-6.

“Three dice, three main bets and a result players can read from across the pit make the game learnable in a single round—an on-ramp for younger guests and for the many players who walk past a craps table because they don’t want to learn it in public,” the company stated.

Its primary deviation from street Cee-lo is that it doesn’t treat 1-2-3 as an automatic loss, or trips or a pair-plus-six as strong wins.

In the casino version, each hand is structured as Bank versus Shooter, with a tie bet available. When the shooter lands 4-5-6, the table yells one word—Headcrack!—and a skull-and-dice display lights up.

50 Cent Headcrack will be offered to commercial casino operators in both traditional and automated dice technology formats.

As of press time, no casino has publicly committed. That conversation, in all likelihood, will take place at G2E, where the real dice will roll.
